Come Let Us Reason Together

Good morning. Our regularly scheduled "The Other 1 Percent" is being pre-empted today. I feel compelled to discuss the Middle East, Israel and Hamas, specifically. Secretary of State Clinton is enroute and although we are hearing reports, it seems the direction is shifting . . . Where we personally stand politically is basically irrelevant, but where we stand before G-d is of utmost importance. Our nation has assisted both sides of this conflict and we need to realize we will be accountable, and accountable not just to the UN, but to a Higher Authority. Weve sent direct aid to Israel for many years, but weve also been very instrumental in pushing Israel to make concessions in "the peace process" which appears to be anything but peaceful! America has also been instrumental in trading and contracting arms and military equipment with countries that will clearly aid Israels enemy, regardless of who that is. Bottom line, America claims to refuse to deal with Hamas because they have been labeled a terrorist organization. Americas war on terror is interesting, to say the least. We truly do, as individuals, need to find out just where our country stands, regardless of what is being reported!
