Take Two here on my coverage of the Tuesday evening candidate forum in Louisville. I tried to broadcast live, unfortunately I lost my cell signal. I was able to record the full event though. The forum featured candidates in my area, Nebraska State Legislative District 2 which comprises parts of Sarpy and Otoe Counties and all of Cass County. The state races in Nebraska are non-partisan with the two top voter getters advancing from the primary - thus you can end up with two candidates from the same party, as in this case. They are incumbent Senator Paul Lambert who was appointed to the seat last fall by the Governor; and challenger Bill Kintner who is endorsed by the Governor. Its an interesting race for two well liked candidates. This event was a forum style event with questions asked from the audience and each candidate answering them, and alternating addressing the questions first. The forum was hosted by Louisville BUILD (Business United In Louisvilles Development) and the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce. It was held at Louisville High School right here in Louisville, Nebraska.
