Every day, we have the opportunity to learn easy, new ways to make our lives better – happier, more peaceful, more abundant. Join us every week here on BTR, and learn about changes we can make, steps we can take – small changes and big changes, too! Despite what your parents may have told you, we ARE here to be happy! We deserve happiness and everything that goes with that – it is ours by Divine right. And it's never too late – we are never too old, or young, to assert our happiness. It takes some convincing, I know – I was a world-class worrier from the age of 8 (maybe even before, I just don't remember back that far!). I grew up in a very traditional, religious environment, believing that we are ‘unworthy,' that our reward comes after we die, that we are not entitled to happiness or joy. “If you're laughing at breakfast, you'll be crying by bedtime.” “Prepare for the worst, and hope for the best.” We've all got these mixed messages rattling around in our cranium – and it's time for a big broom!
