Wayne Bradshaw Redondo Beach Businessman and Fly Fisherman

Our guest this morning is Wayne Bradshaw. Wayne has been in the insurance and financial services industry for over 36 years. He is a certified estate planner with Farmers Insurance and his office is located in Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. He is also a past president of the Redondo Beach Rotary, a member of the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce, the King Harbor Yacht Club and is active in its Heal the Bay project.That's all well and good…but let's get to the good stuff. Wayne is the president of the South Bay Fly Fishers. Yes, folks, there are fly-fisher people doing their thing right here in the South Bay! While the club generally focuses on the art of fly fishing in fresh water they have also journeyed to the beaches and bays of Southern California to test their skills in salt water and have met with great success! They also host an annual winter banquet open to everyone and anyone who loves fly fishing. The banquet raises money for the sole purpose of promoting fly fishing and supporting conservation and preservation which makes their sport possible.The South Bay Fly Fishers conduct monthly meetings and typically have either a guest speaker, slide presentation or movie, conservation lecture, fly tying or rod building demonstration or other basic instruction. Each meeting is concluded with a raffle which helps to raise additional funds needed to support club activities. Meetings and classes are always open to the public.
