For many parents, their children seem to set off on a path headed opposite from the principles they taught them. Your childs choices are subjective to different kinds of people, situations, education, and culture. These choices are real, yet, when a child struggles with concepts of “morality” and “religion” from a biblical perspective, how can we look them in their eyes and still say that their “future will be bright”, and be truthful about it? As Christian parents, how do we get God's point across to our children who are “bent on self-will”, and borderline the unbearable? How do we get them to appreciate God's freedom of choice, and to not abuse or take advantage of it regarding their choices? How do we explain to them that their choices “at the root” really stem from their own natural cravings which are against the will of God, and to now see that this is even more the reason to get right with God; His will, His desires, His reasoning?
