Hanna Perlberger has been a divorce attorney for over 20 years. Every day she gets an up-close look at what doesnt work in a marriage. Luckily she also learns what does work. Today she coaches singles and couples on the subject of having successful marriages. She also lectures and writes articles about the subject. The first story of the first human being is the story of a couple. Not an individual, but a couple. Being in relationship is, simply, part of the sacred order of creation. It's encoded in our spiritual DNA. It's the way that G-d means for us to live in this world – connected through relationship. So if that's true, then why is it so darn hard? We know there are many marriages and relationships that don't feel like they are part of the “sacred order of creation” – to say the least. It's not supposed to hurt so much. It's supposed to be good – and feel good. It's not supposed to hurt so much. So – how do we get the good stuff? You have probably heard the saying – there are three partners to a marriage – the couple and G-d. Not to be disrespectful, but maybe yes, maybe no. It's not a given that G-d will show up in your relationship. You have to invite G-d in. You have to make a space for Him. That space is what Hanna Perlberger refers to as the “sacred space” of marriage. Join us on , when we're going to get into this idea of space, the space of relationship and then she's gong to do an exercise with you which can help you start to create that space – right now.
