Gal. 5:22 - "Joy" the second fruit of the Spirit is a state of delight and well being that results from knowing and serving God. (ref. Holman Bible Dictionary) Joy is the fruit of having a right relationship with God. The Holy spirit planted the seed of righteousness within His people and that seed brings forth a tree that bears good and righteous fruit. Joy is one of the fruits that grows from the tree of righteousness rooted from the seed of the Holy Spirit. For proper building on the foundation that was already laid we need to be sure that we fill our brand new tool box (renewed heart) with the proper tools to build with. The Solid Foundation which is Jesus Christ ... the Author and Finisher of our faith is stedfast, and unmoveable, perfect and entire and any tool less than perfect will not be able to hold or stand under any storm when it arises.
