The real us vs The fake us

A couple of days ago I had the opportunity to set and be what I would call a fly on the wall. In short was an observer at an event. Okay that is really nothing special we are all observers at hundreds and thousands of events in our lifetimes right. Right however most of us see but very few of us observe anything. Most of us are so wrapped up in what is going on in our own heads we missing more than 90% of what is happening around us at any given moment. I attended the meeting to learn. Yes, just see what was going on yet with no other objective it was an enlightening experience. All of the people that I was observing are in leadership roles some new appointed and some seasoned. Some of them younger and some of them older the same rule applies levels of education etc. Now I observed the meeting and group for few hours. Some of the people I have met in the past and some I have only seen in passing none of these people are my supervisors or have any say over me. The most interesting thing to me was the total lack of originally. The vales that were used doing the whole time that I was there in the room. The clear display of fake vis real. The funniest thing was that the group even did a self evaluation on themselves which was also interesting. The areas where: Supporter, Examiner, Promoter and Go Getter Example: Two of the ladies in the meeting were just amazing to listen too. Both of which I have met with in the past. Lets Talk!
